I have been incredibly fortunate in my life to never have to experience the difficulties I see in the world every day. I can’t imagine what it’s like to go hungry - and I think it’s a shame that in a country as great as ours, anyone should.
With that desire in my heart, I preside over Open Heart Sanctuary. We’re all looking to make a difference in our world and I believe that by focusing on communities, we’re going to make the most substantial impact. The world is made up of these important social connections and if you foster them positively, they’ll pay huge dividends - in love, care, and a better world.

Open Heart Sanctuary's partnerships with other community organizations such as Helping Up Mission and New Vision House of Hope allows OHS to assist community members with emergency housing, utility service discontinuation, and in times of other crisis.

If you have able hands, we want your help. Whether it's serving food aid in a kitchen, painting walls of a newly repaired home, or collecting donations, we need you. And so do communities in need.

The Open Heart Mission is to provide Food Distribution, Educational Programs, Special & Emergency Outreach to the low income, unemployed, residents recently released from incarceration, and the elderly.
