At Open Heart Sanctuary, we aim to rebuild hope where it’s been damaged or lost. We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are under served to rebuild and restructure. Our focus lies on community efforts, including small-scale construction protects, shelter, food aid, community awareness, and educational opportunities. We firmly believe it takes a village to raise a child, and if you work on creating the most well equipped society you can, so many problems simply work themselves out.
Where there are people in need, we’ll be there lending a hand, a smile, and an encouraging word.
sPECIAL
OHS provides families with gifts for the youngest members of the community as well as the supplies to make a holiday meal for the entire family.
EMERGENCY
Allows OHS to assist community members with emergency housing, utility service discontinuation, and in times of other crisis.

Meals
OHS serves about 300 meals a month and it is the only organization in the Garrison Hills area of Baltimore's West Side which provides this service daily and delivers meals to the elderly and disabled.
